A Message from Hratch Aynedjian

Welcome to my campaign website, and thank you for dropping by. It is with great enthusiasm that I put forth my name to be your community advocate and representative at Toronto City Council.

From now until election day, Nov. 13, 2006, I will continue to listen and to learn from the residents of Ward 41. I have already met with many of you, and you have inspired me with your encouragement and support.

Time has come for change. It is disheartening when neighbourhoods are plagued by crime and violence; when there are homeless people on our streets; when our taxpayer dollars are spent recklessly and politicians forget about the people who elected them to office.

A democracy is a government by the people. I believe in a government that is ethical, accountable and accessible, working for the greater good of Torontonians. I believe in celebrating diversity and striving for equity. I believe in a city where residents live in harmony and peace.

Today, I challenge you to become more engaged. Working at City Hall for the past 10 years, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of fostering civic participation in building stronger communities. On election day, I urge you to vote.

Ward 41 deserves a strong voice at Toronto City Council. I will bring the experience, the passion, and the leadership that Scarborough-Rouge River needs. On election day, vote Hratch Aynedjian.
